Who Is Rosa Keller?

ROSA KELLER April 9-15 is National Library Week.I will be posting my books and other books for free during the week, but more importantly posting links, articles, and photos about libraries. Check out all of that on my Facebook Page and Twitter Page.Below is a photo of the Rosa Keller Library in New Orleans.I discovered it on one of my long walks in NOLA. It is a wonderful place in a troubled city. http://www.nolalibrary.org/…/rosa-f-keller-library-communit…W [...]

Reports Of My Russian Entanglements Are Fake News

Reports Of My Russian Entanglements Are Fake NewsAmidst all of the recent news and discussion concerning allegations, leaks, and illicit contact with Russian intelligence, I decided to set the record straight about my involvement.I was only remotely involved back in the 1970’s. The Brezhnev Soviets had invaded Czechoslovakia in 1968. The US and Soviet Union held the first Strategic Arms Limitation Talks (SALT) in 1969. And we had the Watergate and Nixon resignation going on. And I w [...]

BLACKOUTSome may have noticed I recently changed my social media profile and cover pix to solid black panels.I also have liked, shared, and commented, etc., much less frequently.I have scrolled more quickly and fervently past more and more nonsense. Going black means I've seen enough. I'll be gone for a while. I'm out. Gone fishin'.It is not completely due to political or governmental reasons, but, mostly, it is.The political arena, and consequently the government and society, today are dis [...]

Mike's Little Bio

I am a Vermonter, though I lived fifteen years on Cape Cod, and came to Arizona over twenty years ago. I have changed careers from teacher and coach to working twenty-five years with the US Postal Service.

I participated in numerous school productions and in community theater, on and back-stage, during my college and teaching years. I was a high school drama director. My first major writing project was adapting a Russian folktale, The Nosebag, which I produced and directed.

Though I read in many genres, my favorite is mystery. Perhaps from my theater experiences the books I enjoy and appreciate the most have a lot of interesting dialogue. That said, my writer idol is Kurt Vonnegut.

Retirement gave me more time to read and more than enough to play all the golf I could handle. I began a story about my fake town with no thought of ever publishing it, but I later heard about and figured out the self-publishing thing. Here I am.

His dog happens to find a body nearby, which leads to his involvement in that and others murders.
