Fathers and Sons-Sports and Life by Keith D. Guernsey
"Fathers & Sons…" is a story of an uncommon love and devotion between fathers and sons. It is a story of my recovery from two rounds of life-threatening brain surgeries to play on three championship softball teams in two states. It includes a chapter on the most controversial sports topic of our time; Deflategate. “Fathers…” is also a sequel to “Confessions of a Beantown Sports Junkie.”

For those who love stories that Triumph over Adversity and those who LOVE Boston Sports!!
January 11, 2018-Format: Paperback
Who doesn't love a story about a life that triumphed over adversities and then ends in a happy ending that touches your heart? No one I know! And even if you aren't a sports fan, you can't help but get swept up in Keith's passion about his love of Boston's sports and all the anecdotal stories he tells. This is a book based on fact not fiction; and told in an old fashion storytelling voice which many authors wish they could mimic. Thanks for a great book, Keith!!

Confessions of a Beantown Sports Junkie, A Great Read
June 16, 2015-Format: Paperback|Verified Purchase
I had the pleasure to attend many sporting events with Keith Guernsey beginning in 1982. His knowledge of the Boston Sports scene is remarkable. He is a vociferous reader and fan of Boston Sports at the high school, college and professional level.
I will never forget the night I met Willie McGinest at Morton's Steak House and called Keith to let him know what was transpiring. Willie had just been drafted and he was a great linebacker out of USC. Within a half hour of calling Keith he appeared at Morton's and meet Willie.
I am sharing that story because it reminded me of Keith's admiration of Boston Sports as it's displayed in this well written masterpiece. The book is truly a pleasure to read and factually 100% accurate. Candidly, a must read.
